Mission Statement: To use the power of collective giving to support local non-profit organizations serving in our local area.

Goal: Give away over $15,000 in 1 hour by getting 100+ women together, voting on a local 501(c)(3) charity and then presenting the selected charity with over $15,000.

 

Details: Group meets once a quarter for one hour, with a half hour available before the meeting for registration, social time, etc.

Members nominate their favorite local charities; three are drawn at random and then presented by the women who nominated them. The nominees have five minutes to talk about the charity and another five minutes for a Q&A session.

The members then vote for the one charity they would like to receive ALL the funds. The selected charity is announced and all the members write a $100 tax-deductible check directly to that charity on the spot.

After all the checks are received, they are presented to the selected charity. That is it!
